Year 7
December 13, 2007 on 11:26 am | In Diamonds, year 7 | No CommentsYear 7 students attended six Kic.in2.study sessions at the Diamonds Study Centre over the second half of the Autumn term. Their programme included work with the Lighthouse Trust focused on producing a teen magazine as well as working on ICT tasks such as creating a name badge and carrying out a dream team activity which involved internet research and importing photographs. The students also made an origami rugby shirt and participated in team building games and activities such as group juggling as well as being involved in a player interview.
Some of the students will be attending the pantomime at Derngate during the school Christmas holiday.
Evaluations at the end of the programme ranged from 8.5/10 to 10/10. Two students wanted to give it a score of 11/10! They described it as fun, exciting, useful, interesting and wicked. Two students thought it was sometimes a bit difficult.
