Year 6 join kic.in2.study

Year 6 students from across the county have been attending kic.in2.study at the Cobblers Study Centre over the last few weeks.  This has been their first experience of kic.in2.study and we hope to get to know them very well over the coming years.   They are a super group who have tackled every task with enthusiasm.  Their ability to work together has developed well and we have seen them demonstrate good social skills.

      

They have enjoyed a tour of the football stadium and did really well in an orienteering task which took them around the ground.  They have used digital cameras and became quite expert at importing and resizing photos as well as tackling ICT tasks using Publisher.  The memory workshop challenged them all to improve their memory and everyone saw an improvement by the end of the session. The scavenger hunt involved them in trekking around the lake collecting photographic evidence ranging from danger signs to birds in trees and trains passing in the distance. 

 

     

We have loved working with this group and look forward to seeing them all again soon.
