S2R celebration

Over eighty people attended the event in the Ken Turner Suite at Northants County Cricket Club where students showcased the work done on the programme.
Students and members of staff spoke about what they’d learned, places they’d visited and sports personalities they’d interviewed. Paul Burnett, Director of Children and Young People’s Services commended the young people on their hard work and commitment, offering particular praise for the fact that the work had been done outside of school hours, in their own time. He pointed out to them that this attitude of commitment and persistence was exactly what employers of the future would be looking for.
